Asia's next tiger, Vietnam, aims higher


With a population of more than 90 million, Vietnam has recorded the world's second-fastest growth rate per person since 1990, behind only China. Its meteoric rise provides largely applicable lessons for other countries trying to gain a foothold on—and eventually ascend—the development ladder


Geography, openness to investment, and effective planning—particularly a focus on education—have propelled Vietnam to the top of the development class. Will the country continue its rise and become Asia's next economic powerhouse?
