印度正在成為蘋果公司(Apple Inc., AAPL)在亞洲地區除中國以外的重點押注對象。蘋果公司週一宣布，已開始在印度生產iPhone 13。但印度要想在這塊製造業領域搶占到較大的份額，就需要打造出一個更強大的國內市場、推出利好出口的政策以及建設更好的物流基礎設施。

根據Counterpoint Research的估算，2021年，印度占到蘋果公司全球製造總量的3.1%左右，高於2020年的1.3%，預計2022年該比例將達到5%至7%。相較於中國高達95.3%的占比，印度的這個比例仍顯得微不足道。在東南亞地區，越南和印尼等國家也在積極爭奪蘋果公司產品的製造份額。
