Hong Kong: Children’s rights groups demanded a public apology from the police force after officers pinned a 12-year-old girl to the ground for walking near a planned protest. Teachers, social workers and psychologists circulated the petition, which also calls for an investigation into the girl’s treatment.

1. 傳媒片段顯示，該女童當時與兄長一起，身上並無任何示威標語，我們質疑警方是否有合理的理據指控女童參與聚集，所作出的截查行動是否有必要 ...

4. 警方現時執法手段，包括呼喝、威嚇、侮辱，這對於根本沒有參與聚集的兒童的無差別待遇，會產生是次女童的受驚嚇反應，甚至受防衛機能所影響會作出反抗。警方以此手法控制人群，不單製造衝突，更讓兒童種下仇視執法人員的種籽。警方高層對此等惡劣的執法策略，必須即時全面檢討，並要負上全責 ... //
