George Orwell
published "Animal Farm" 75 years ago. The fable, in which formerly oppressed pigs become human-like oppressors themselves, was Orwell's hard-hitting indictment of Stalin's dictatorship in the Soviet Union. It's still eerily applicable to many totalitarian systems today. "Animal Farm" is Orwell's most famous work apart from "Nineteen Eighty-Four", and is still widely read today.
