【速報】南韓的新型冠狀病毒（武漢肺炎）疫情好不容易趨緩近1個月後，1名男性在毫無症狀之下，於勞動節與兒童節連休期間的5月2日，造訪首爾梨泰院多處夜店後確診，目前梨泰院知名酒吧「King's Club」已爆發集體感染，並擴散至軍隊與其他區域。自5月8日後，新增確診數再次突破2位數，今早持續上升至34人。


當中，首爾市佔14人、京畿道與境外移入個案各6人、仁川市3人、忠清北道與大邱市各2人、濟州道1人，除境外移入與與大邱外，今天新增的34人中，共有26人與梨泰院夜店感染有關，至今天為止，集體感染規模達54人；防疫部門估計，5月2日晚間出沒該酒吧者就有超過1500人，目前仍有1300人難以聯繫上，而這些人的家屬也可能經近距離接觸後感染，不排除往後確診規模有快速擴大的可能性。


但因集體感染爆發處為同志酒吧，受限於南韓社會對同志仍有不友善態度，部分媒體最初報導時，也不斷強調「同志酒吧」字眼，容易導致與大邱新天地教會爆發集體感染的相同狀況，許多人憂慮身分曝光、遭遇歧視或不利對待，而不願立刻出面接受調查與檢疫，成為當下相當嚴峻的課題。而首爾市長朴元淳昨天也對市內2000多處聲色場所，發布無限期禁止群聚的命令。
